Vibras Bonitas
Sandra is the creative brain behind Vibras Bonitas and one half of the magic at The Stitch House. Her love for sewing and crafts started early learning to make small projects with her grandma, who taught her that creativity, patience, and a little trial-and-error go hand in hand.
Like many people, Sandra found her way back to embroidery years later during the slow return to normal after COVID-19, when she took a workshop with Lizbeth and remembered just how grounding and joyful making things by hand could be. One project turned into another, and before she knew it, Vibras Bonitas began to take shape.

Since 2022, she has taught children, teens, adults, seniors and people with different abilities how to find joy in hand embroidery and fiber art. Her main inspirations are traditional Mexican embroidery, El Paso and Ciudad Juárez desert landscapes, migration and the unique “in the between” experience that comes with growing up immersed in the Frontera (border) culture, which refers to living in a liminal space of duality and hybridity.
