Vibras Bonitas
Sandra is the creative brain behind Vibras Bonitas and one half of the magic at The Stitch House. Her love for sewing and crafts started early learning to make small projects with her grandma, who taught her that creativity, patience, and a little trial-and-error go hand in hand.
Like many people, Sandra found her way back to embroidery years later during the slow return to normal after COVID-19, when she took a workshop with Lizbeth and remembered just how grounding and joyful making things by hand could be. One project turned into another, and before she knew it, Vibras Bonitas began to take shape.

My name is Lizbeth Sánchez Pineda and I’m a restless Fronteriza born and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Chih. México where I studied Graphic Design and Education. I married the most amazing and geeky guy in la Frontera and moved to El Paso TX. almost 12 years ago.
My passion for art started first in the performing arts world. In 2019, I started hand embroidering gifts for friends and family, practicing several hand stitching techniques and researching the embroidery styles of México.
Honestly, they were pretty bad, but they helped me practice and practice and eventually I got better with the craft (gracias familia and amigos for your support with my not so great first attempts!!).
Throughout the exploration process, I fell in love with the possibilities of the thread and the needle and started to create more elaborated designs, mixing with acrylic or watercolor painting, beading, appliqués or felt patches from time to time. I was continuously immersed in feeding my curiosity and I try to remain adventurous with life and art.
Surely you will see a lot of my love for my Mexican roots and for the border culture, as well as glimpses of the immigrant experience in many of my pieces.
